Dubai Metro Station

The architecture of the Dubai Metro station is quite futuristic and very photogenic. This is the metro station at Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, which was busy with passengers at the time I shot this photo. One of the things that I really love about long exposure photography is the ability to remove the crowds from urban scenes and concentrate the view on the beauty of the architecture. This was a long exposure of about three and half minutes using a Formatt Hitech Firecrest 16 stop ND filter. The black and white conversion on this image was done in ON1 Effects.
