The Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi is the largest mosque in the UAE and its construction was initiated by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the late president who is now laid to rest in the grounds. We visited the United Arab Emirates in February this year, staying in Dubai. While there, we were kindly taken to Abu Dhabi by a local photographer friend and spent some time around sunset at this magnificent architectural beauty.
This is a panoramic image created from 3 vertical frames, each of which was manually blended from 2 exposures – one for the foreground and one for the sky. After stitching in Panorama Maker Pro, I cropped the result to the 4×3 format.
