Todays travel photo was taken on a trip to Goa in 2008. On a boat trip around sunset to spot birds on the River Sal, we passed these locals fishing and I loved how this scene looked in the late afternoon light, with the trees and mountains behind them, so made a quick grab shot from our moving boat. The quality of light in Goa is wonderful, especially early and late in the day. The River Sal is the third longest river in Goa and flows through the south of the state into the Arabian sea at Betul Beach, near Cavelossim.
