The Center for Wooden Boats is a not for profit organization for historic wooden boats on Lake Union in Seattle. It was actually closed when we visited, but one of the centers volunteers was there working on a fence and said we we were welcome to have a look around. The center, which has been there for more than 35 years, organises workshops, regattas and other events to educate about the history of wooden boat building and the skills involved.
